The Spa at the Carrick

A highlight of a visit to The Spa at Cameron House is the stunning rooftop infinity pool, in which you can take a dip and enjoy view across The Carrick Golf Course, lodge resort and beyond into the Scottish mountains.

After being preened and pampered, grab a light bite from the Spa Café to complete your visit to The Spa at Cameron House Hotel. Serving a delicious seasonal menu of soups, sandwiches and main meals, the Spa Café provides a stunning view of the golf course and fountains to enjoy during your meal.

Celtic Warrior Cruise:              

Each cruise lasts 60 minutes and will take you past the various islands of Loch Lomond including Inchmurrin, as well as the hidden coves situated around the banks of the loch. All boat trips and hires include a glass of bubbly, which can be enjoyed from the upper deck. Loch Lomond Seaplane:         

Depart on your Loch Lomond Seaplane trip from the pontoon in front of Cameron House reception. Be greeted by your Captain for a comprehensive briefing before experiencing the thrill of taking off on water. During the trip you’ll soar over the stunning Scottish scenery including lochs, glens and rugged mountain peaks before making your way back to the pontoon at Cameron House to enjoy an after flight champagne on the dock. The seaplanes cover around 70 miles on the Discovery flights and approximately 110 miles on the Explorer flights. Seaplane trips are available every day of the week, with various times on offer. Glasgow Based Activities – Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th May

Clydeside Distillery Tour:

Located 5 minutes’ drive from The Marriott Hotel, The Clydeside tour includes the self-guided Glasgow & Whisky story with history of the Queens dock, tour of the distillery with one of our fantastic guides to discover how our unique hand-crafted single malt is made, and finishing in our tasting room with 3 wee drams of contrasting single malts – one lowland, one highland and one Islay. Guests will leave with a gift from the Clydeside, a miniature Glencairn glass to enjoy their own wee dram at home.

Tour tickets are priced at £20 per person and lasts approx. 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Glasgow Open Top Tour:

Explore Glasgow in comfort and enjoy the flexibility that our Visit Scotland 5* rated tour offers with 21 stops where you can hop on and off to visit many of the best visitor attractions the city has to offer.

Cost: Free

Times: Daily 9:30AM – 4:30AM and lasts 1.5 hours.

Riverside Museum:

Riverside Museum is Glasgow’s award-winning transport museum. With over 3,000 objects on display there’s everything from skateboards to locomotives, paintings to prams and cars to a Stormtrooper.

Cost: Free

Glasgow City Chambers Tour

Completed in 1888 and overlooking George Square, Glasgow City Chambers is one of the city’s most prestigious buildings.

Open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm. This grand edifice is a symbol of Glasgow’s historic wealth and has, for more than a century, been the headquarters of successive councils serving the City of Glasgow. Tours of the City Chambers are available and are conducted twice daily at 10.30am and 2.30pm.

Glasgow Central Station Tour

On the Glasgow Central Tour you will be given an exclusive, behind the scenes look at Glasgow Central Station. You will walk in subterranean passageways beneath Glasgow’s streets, hear tales of the famous and infamous who have travelled the tracks and stood on the platforms of Glasgow Central Station.

Price: £15 and lasts 1.5 hours.

Marriott Whiskey Tasting:

Hosted by The Marriott’s own qualified whisky ambassadors, this whisky tasting session includes tasting of four Malt Whiskies per person, one from each region.

The tasting lasts for 1 hour and it also includes smoked cheese, dark chocolate and oatcakes to compliment the tasting.
